Black granite setts give you the toughest paving format we sell, in a deep charcoal-black that makes edges, borders, and driveways look properly finished. The compact 200x100 format works everywhere larger slabs can't — driveway aprons, pathway edging, patio borders, tree surrounds, and full driveways laid in classic sett patterns like stretcher bond or fans.
The flamed finish is what sets these apart: the surface is heat-treated to open the granite's crystal structure, giving a naturally textured, slip-resistant face that keeps its grip in the wet. Colour runs consistently dark with the subtle silver flecking natural granite is known for, and unlike softer stone it barely weathers — the black stays black. At 40mm thick, these take vehicle traffic comfortably when laid on a proper sub-base.
Granite is the hardest-wearing natural stone in our range: frost-resistant, CE certified, and highly resistant to staining and surface wear. Allow 10% extra for cuts and wastage when ordering. Sealing is optional with granite — it enhances the depth of colour but isn't required for protection.
Variation: Granites are subject to very less variation in colors compared to rest of the natural stones available in the market.

Orders are delivered on pallets mostly using a tail-lift lorry. The pallet is lowered onto the nearest flat, hard kerbside surface. Please note that drivers cannot move pallets into gardens, garages, or through houses.
Yes, delivery is free to mainland UK addresses. For deliveries outside mainland UK (including certain remote postcodes, islands, and highlands), a surcharge per pack may apply.
We recommend someone is present to check and sign for the goods. However, deliveries can sometimes be left without a signature if agreed in advance.
Yes. You can request a later delivery date to suit your project schedule. Let us know at checkout or contact us once you’ve placed your order.
We strongly advise adding at least 10% extra to cover cuts, wastage, or damages. This also ensures you have matching slabs from the same batch as spares or for contingency.
Each pallet can weigh up to 1,000kg. We advise using proper great and safety equipment for unloading the slabs. Slabs weighing 20 kgs or more should be lifted by two people.
