Why choose 900×600 large format

The 900×600 size strikes the ideal balance for UK patios. It's large enough to create the clean, minimal-joint look of a modern garden, but light enough for two people to handle and lay without specialist equipment (unlike 1200×600, which is heavier and needs more careful levelling). On a typical patio, 900×600 has roughly half the joint lines of 600×600 — a noticeably more spacious, designed finish.

How many 900×600 slabs are in a square metre?

Each 900×600 slab covers 0.54m², so you need roughly 1.9 slabs per m². For a 20m² patio, that's about 38 slabs — always order 10% extra to allow for cuts and breakage.

Is 900×600 porcelain slippery when wet?

No — all our 900×600 porcelain is R11 anti-slip rated, which means it provides reliable grip even when soaking wet. It's safe for patios, paths and around pools.

Can I lay 900×600 porcelain myself?
