FAQ

What's the difference between indoor and outdoor tiles?
Indoor tiles are typically thinner and are made for use on solid, level bases such as floor screed or wall backer board, rather than exposure to weather. Our outdoor porcelain paving is manufactured to a greater thickness for outdoor use — the two aren't interchangeable.

Are indoor porcelain tiles suitable for underfloor heating?
Porcelain is a good conductor of heat and is commonly used over underfloor heating systems. Always check with your installer on the specific setup and tile adhesive used.

Should I choose matt or gloss for a kitchen or bathroom?
Matt finishes tend to show fewer marks and are easier to keep looking clean on kitchen floors, while gloss finishes brighten smaller bathrooms and reflect more light — it comes down to personal preference and the room.

Can the same tile be used on both floors and walls?
