Links on our site that lead to external websites and other resources run by third parties are just there for your information. We are not liable for the contents of those websites or resources because we have no control over them. This includes sponsorships and advertisements.
8.Price
8.1 Our website details the price that must be paid for the goods.
8.2 In some cases, you might have to pay more for delivery or for deliveries that aren't covered by our regular delivery conditions page.
8.3 The mentioned prices are based on the current rates and are subject to change. Hence, unless otherwise specified, we cannot promise.
8.4 Only fully loaded crates are eligible for free delivery. Additional fees apply to split crates.

- b)Any change to the Products' specifications, quantities, or delivery dates that you desire.
- c) Any delay brought on by your failure to provide sufficient instructions or information.
9.Variation & Installation
9.1 We make every effort to accurately reflect the colours and sizes of our products on our website, but keep in mind that every batch is different. We strongly advise thoroughly reading through all product descriptions and avoiding making conclusions about what to buy based solely on visuals.
9.2 Since lighting, screen calibration, and inherent variations may have an impact on how a product appears, all images are supplied solely as a guide.
9.3 Minor variations and inconsistencies are possible in flags with a sawn edge or machine finish.
9.4 While we try to accurately represent each product in our website photographs, variations that you will see in each crate may differ from those shown there. Please keep in mind that these are customer-submitted pictures of real products in real lighting and cannot take into account variations in real illumination, slab moisture, or any materials used during or after installation.
9.5 We rely on the information you supply when advising customers about the suitability of any Items for their needs. You are responsible for making sure that all information, including any relevant design, sketch, or specification, is accurate. You are also required to provide us with any necessary information regarding the Goods in a timely manner so that we can abide by these Terms.
9.6 Samples are only offered as a representation of colour and texture; sample thickness is not always indicative of the final product.
9.7 Remember! It is a natural product (The natural stone's colour variety and texture are what give it its charm;) - The colour of a single stone can differ greatly between batches, containers, and even inside individual crates. We can't promise it.
9.8 Greystone has naturally occurring iron, which can oxidise and manifest as brown marks. It will have a greater impact on some flags than others, which is a characteristic of the stone and not a flaw. Granite stone also has this potential.
9.9 A natural product frequently has a thin layer of dust from the quarrying process, which can occasionally make the slabs initially appear a little lighter in colour. Once the stone is laid, the colours will deepen and intensify when it is wet.
9.10 There should be a +/- 5mm tolerance for natural variances in the dimensions indicated for paving made of sandstone, slate, and limestone, +/- 3mm for paving made of granite, and +/- 15mm for paving composed of cobbles and setts. Tolerances for manufacturing and production apply to all dimensions, which are all nominal and industry standards
9.11 Man-made stones are similarly created in batches and might vary from batch to batch in terms of colour and pattern. When placing a top-up order or adding an extension to a current project, we always recommend bearing in mind that products for the project should be ordered together in one order.
9.12 Be cautious to inspect all items for damage and faults before using them because we cannot be held liable for any uplifting and relaying expenses.
9.13 The client is in charge of ensuring that the product is installed properly. Pre-installation or post-installation warranties are not included with the products.
9.14 As Universal Paving UK Ltd does not participate in the product installation, it cannot be held liable for improperly installed materials or any product flaws discovered after installation
9.15 After the product has been installed, the stone may have changed. Anything that occurs on the slabs after installation can only have happened as a result of the installation procedure because this is the only factor influencing how the effects were brought about after receiving the items. Universal Paving UK Ltd is not liable for any damage the slabs sustain after use.
10.Delivery of Goods
The following should be done when we recognise your order confirmation:
1. Double-check the delivery address and phone number so we can get in touch with you if necessary.
2. Ascertain if the delivery area is level and sturdy enough to support a pallet truck's weight.
3. Inform of any restrictions that can prevent access to the delivery address.
If the aforementioned information is not provided, the delivery may be unsuccessful, and you will be responsible for additional redelivery fees.
When you place your order, we will deliver the goods to the address you provide. In order for us to decide if we can deliver the Products and the best way, you must give us all the information we logically need. if delivery fails because of;
A Wrong or incomplete delivery address,
B No one being there to collect delivery,
C Accessibility issues,
D Inappropriate or unsafe premises
Consequently, for each attempted redelivery, you will be assessed extra delivery fees (up to a maximum of three delivery attempts at our sole discretion).
10.1Our typical delivery procedure is a one-man, kerbside delivery that involves the use of a manual pallet truck and tail-lift to place the product on a hard, level surface either on the kerb or by the roadside (no hills or slopes). Please take note that our normal delivery option does not include HIAB or Grab lorries.
10.2The deliveries are carried out using 18- or 28-ton trucks with a tail lift. The customer is responsible for making sure there is enough room for their entrance and return. Failing to comply could lead to the order being cancelled or to further fees.
10.3The verified orders will be delivered to the address in the United Kingdom that you specify as the "Shipping Address" either by us or by a third-party delivery partner.
10.4Each box must be physically carried using a pallet truck and can weigh up to one tonne. Gravel, grass, and inclines are all inoperative for pallet trucks. Deliveries must be made to a surface that is level, hard, and either on the kerb or beside the road.
10.5The courier will deliver between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm if no special arrangements have been made. Furthermore, the delivery driver must return without finishing the delivery if you keep our delivery vehicle waiting for an excessive amount of time.
10.6Delivery will occur once the goods have been unloaded at the closest accessible location to the delivery address, which may be your driveway or the curb side.
10.7If the goods are to be delivered to a location other than your private residence, we will bring the goods as close as is safe and is permitted by the public route. You will be in responsibility of adhering to all laws, fees, and requirements as well as taking any necessary actions to protect people or property. You agree to pay us back for any reasonable losses, damages, fees, or expenditures we might make in connection with such delivery, whether on a public roadway or somewhere else.
10.8You are liable for the full cost of any delivery that is cancelled if the carrier runs into difficulties with delivery as a consequence of your failure to provide any necessary information. Similar to this, you will be responsible for paying any fees incurred by delays that hinder the immediate offloading of items.
10.9We won't enter your private home unless we have been given permission to do so. When requested, we bear no responsibility for harm our delivery drivers may do to the invited party's property (whether directly employed by us or by a third party)
10.10The quoted delivery fee covers delivery on weekdays and during regular business hours. If we agree, at your request, to deliver after regular business hours, on a Saturday, or on a holiday, there may be an additional fee. Delivery services such as AM/PM or timed deliveries could be provided for an additional fee.
10.11Calculated lead times start when the order was paid for. While we try our best to deliver the products on schedule. We shouldn't be held responsible for any compensation if there is a delay that is outside of our control.
10.12While we make every effort to fulfil any specified delivery date, exact delivery dates and times cannot be guaranteed. The delivery dates and times we give you are merely for your reference.
10.13When things are signed for, this demonstrates that they have been accepted. We are not liable for harm caused by later use or misuse of the products. your reference.
10.14We firmly advise that you place your stone order so that it will arrive a few days prior to the date of installation. If your delivery is delayed, we won't be responsible for standing labour. your reference.
Acknowledging the Delivery:
Carefully inspect your packages when they are delivered before signing the delivery note or proof of delivery. Please note "Damaged" when signing for the delivery if you find anything amiss. We recommend having someone sign for you if you are unable to check or sign for your products. Please let us know in the customer-provided notes during checkout if you require the goods delivered without being signed for.
Clients are required to inspect the items for any obvious damage in the presence of the driver. Please mark the delivery note/POD as "Damaged" if you discover any obvious damage to the crate, such as splintered wood or even if it is tipped slightly to one side.
If there are no evident issues, kindly open the top of the carton to inspect the products for concealed damage. If any concealed damages are discovered, kindly mention "Damaged" on the delivery note/POD.
Also check the descriptions labels on the outer side of the crate to ensure you have received the right products. In case, if you have been delivered wrong products by mistake we suggest to get in touch with us as quickly as possible and recommend not to open the crate from its original packaging.
Simply put the term "Damaged" next to your signature, whether it's on paper or a mobile device, to do this. Be sure to ask for the delivery note/POD before the driver departs so that you may sign for the products. The driver could not have it on them while moving the goods. We advise signing the delivery note/POD yourself, and always double-check that the goods are signed for as you see fit if the driver is signing on your behalf. Please be aware that checking the "Unchecked" box will not protect you from any identified damages.
Consumers simply need to detect one instance of damage to sign as "Damaged"; they are not required to inspect every slab upon arrival. After this is completed, you have a full 72 hours to review the entire order and submit a claim.
A signature, unless otherwise specified, attests that the products have been delivered in good order and are free of any obvious signs of damage.
Each driver has a maximum of 20 minutes per delivery for you to do this and you can request that they wait for the full duration when necessary.
To prevent paying any re-delivery or return fees, we always advise accepting the package
12 Damages
Although every attempt is made to pack each crate carefully and securely, damages can still happen in shipping. As a result, please make sure you have the entire amount of usable products on-site before calling in any tradespeople or beginning your project. This will prevent any damages from delaying work by giving you enough time to check for damage and file a claim before your project begins.
If your claim is accepted, we'll provide you a refund equal to the full worth of the damaged goods. Please be aware that we do not provide exchanges and deal only in full packs.
We advise using any damaged slabs in a way can normally be used for offcuts. This enables you to use the most amount of stone without laying anything that is non-suitable.
When opening crates or during transit, a slab may sustain chips to its corners or edges. Once the patio has been pointed, these are normally hidden and won't hinder the slab's function.
Orders that the client has picked up in person or arranged to have picked up by a third party are not eligible for claims.
Claims for any product that has been utilised are not acceptable.
12.1 Unless you tell us in writing of the problem within 72 hours of the final delivery of the disputed items, we will not be liable to you if the goods we supply are not what you purchased, are damaged, faulty, or are delivered in an inaccurate quantity. The onus of proof rests with the buyer, who may need to seek a second assessment from an impartial third party to give evidence that the product is not of adequate quality. In the event that this results from overuse, normal wear and tear, or an accident, Universal Paving UK Ltd is not responsible.
12.2 Our products can sustain some damage due to the lengthy distances they travel. If the item you purchase is flawed or damaged, we reserve the right to issue a refund in accordance with sections 12.4.1 and 12.4.2. Please sign for the items as "damaged" when you receive them if they arrive damaged. You must examine the delivery carefully before signing. We are unable to process any damage claims if the delivery note is not claused. We advise you to file a claim as soon as delivery occurs.
12.3 While we make every effort to guarantee your goods arrive in perfect shape, it's crucial to leave 7.5% when ordering to account for cuts, waste, and a limited number of potential breakages. When less than 7.5% of the goods are received damaged or otherwise unfit, we are unable to provide replacements or refunds. We won't provide replacements; we'll just refund the worth of the damaged items. When placing your purchase, keep this in mind as we suggest adding an additional 10-15% to account for cuts and wastage.
12.4 We will not be liable to you if the items you ordered do not arrive within 30 days of the date you place your order unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the issue within 40 days of the date you placed your order.
12.4.1 to make good any shortage or non-delivery;
12.4.2 to refund you the amount you paid for the in question in the manner of our choosing
12.5 Unless prohibited by law, we will not be responsible for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or expenses (such as lost profits, business, or goodwill) resulting from any issue you notify us of in accordance with this condition, and we will not be responsible for making any monetary payments.
12.6 Despite the aforementioned, nothing in these terms and conditions is meant to limit any consumer rights you may have under applicable UK law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded, nor is it meant to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
12.7 Universal Paving UK Ltd is not responsible for any loss or damage to goods that occur while transportation on the purchaser's own vehicle, on the job site, or when they are used, stored, or protected illegally.
13 Returns
13.1 Taking returns -
Orders may be cancelled and returned within 14 days of the delivery date
Within this time window, we can accept returns for complete, sealable, unopened crates
Custom orders, made-to-measure products, loose slabs, sale items, and accessories are not returnable.
13.2 How to organise returns:
To arrange your return, please get in touch with us in writing.
You must arrange for the goods to be returned and cover the associated costs. Where appropriate, we may, in our sole discretion, arrange a collection for you through our existing distribution network. This will cost you what usual delivery fees are.
If Universal Paving arranges for the goods to be picked up. Before the collection can be planned, we will need to see pictures of the crates in their natural environment to evaluate whether they are acceptable for collecting.
It is the customer's obligation to repack the items for safe return if the original packaging has been opened or is regarded by Universal Paving or the courier to need modification before collection can occur.
Failure to collect owing to non-compliance with our returns policy will result in a fee of £50 + VAT per crate to pay the company's costs associated with scheduling the collection.
Without the company's prior approval, no goods may be returned.
13.3 The cost of returning an item
When the goods are returned, we will check them for any damage or unreported issues
A £165 restocking fee of the original invoice's value will be subtracted from any refund that is due. This includes charges for delivery, pickup, and return of the products as well as charges for restocking.
We are delighted to offer guidance on how and where our customers could sell the goods instead, as this is frequently a more economical choice for them.
14 Refund- Policy
14.1 Before completing the reimbursement, we must receive the items and examine them
14.2 The total amount of the reimbursement will be reduced by any damaged goods that were returned.
14.3 Once the items have been received, the verification and refund processes normally take 2 to 5 working days to complete.
14.4 Depending on your bank and the chosen payment method, it could take another 2–5 days for a refund to appear in your account once it has been processed.
14.5 After the products have been received and inspected, refund requests will be handled first.
14.6 Refunds will be given according to the cancellation and return policy.
15 Uncontrollable events
Any failure or delay in doing so, as well as any damage or defect to goods delivered, that is brought on by an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, such as, but not limited to, vehicle delays, strikes, lockouts, and other labour disputes, a breakdown in systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion, or accident, or the imposition of export or import restrictions, quotas, or prohibitions, shall not subject us to liability to you.
