Kandla Grey is the UK's most popular paving colour — a versatile silver-grey that works with every house type, garden style, and planting scheme. We stock it in two materials: natural sandstone for warmth and character, and porcelain for zero maintenance. Same colour, different performance — choose the one that suits how you use your garden.
Genuine Indian sandstone with natural colour variation across every slab. Cool silver-grey with warm undertones — no two slabs are identical. Available in riven (textured, traditional) and sawn & honed (smooth, contemporary) finishes. Naturally slip-resistant, stays cool barefoot in summer, and develops a beautiful patina with age. 22mm calibrated thickness. Patio packs, 900×600, 600×600, and setts available.
Kandla Grey porcelain captures the look of natural sandstone with zero maintenance. Non-porous surface means stains wipe off, algae can't colonise, and sealing is never needed. 20mm thick, R11 anti-slip rated, frost-proof. Available in 900×600, 1200×600, 600×600, patio packs, setts, and edging planks. The practical choice for dining areas, barbecue zones, and busy family gardens.
Choose sandstone if you want natural character, barefoot comfort in summer, and a surface that tells a geological story. Choose porcelain if you want stain-proof performance, no annual maintenance, and a consistent modern aesthetic. Both start from under £21/m² — read our full sandstone vs porcelain comparison.
All Kandla Grey products include VAT and free UK mainland delivery. Order samples to see the colour in your own garden before committing.
